adding extra cymbals to surge mesh
« on: November 07, 2024, 06:41:23 PM »
Hi All,
I'm going to add an extra couple of cymbals to my surge mesh kit (I already have the extra tom + cymbal expansion pack)
I'm just looking for advice with clamps/brackets - I'm looking for something that will either clamp to the existing cymbal stands, of something that will clamp to the 1 1/2" rack that I can angle,
The standard clamps are just "straight up"

Any help would be most welcome ;-)

It sounds as if you already have your surge mesh kit maxed out. Do you have space on the module to plug in a couple more cymbals?

Any standard rack clamp should work if you have 1 1/2" rack tubes.

Hi
Yes I am maxed out on the module, but I'm going to split the rims from the toms.
I have extra 1 1/2 standard clamps, I just wish I could find adjustable ones to change the angle

Gibraltar offers Adjustable Multi-Clamps...rotate to any angle..for L-Rods Cymbals etc

There are different Series and Finishes..Chrome or Black...the GRSMAMC is a closer match to the Alesis Hatched Clamps.

As far as pricing..there are deals out there and Sweetwater typically has Bundle prices on their website or ebay..
It's that time of the year ..so shop around..or wait for BF..
