What a shame.   

2Box Forum and this forum (then call DMdrummer.com) started about the same time, summer 2009. I think I even had a few posts of my own over there. I don't know how much traffic that site was getting, but I can tell you that stand alone forums (unless they are long established with a popular track record) don't seem to work these days. I know this forum has suffered greatly.

When I sold my Dm10 and got a 2box module, I used that forum extensively, and my DIY knowledge grew considerably. Learned how to do my cymbals for the module, that eventually I sold as well.

Still have the album, though, that I use live to trigger tom and bassdrum samples. But it is a shame that the forum is gone. But that's also quite telling of how 2box simply gave up, and now they are like medeli, they sell their hardware as rebranded drum modules.

An end of an era.
