Those 2 questions -
1) Best compatible hi hat open / close on a stand type; seen two candidates - would Lemon or Geodrum GHC AC work properly with Crimson 2? Or anything else that's more responsive than the out of the box pedal?
2) Best isolating headphones or good set up to stop me hearing the clonk clonk of the sticks on the cymbals. I can't drown out that clonk without turning the music track in my headphones (AKG studio cans) so loud it's blowing my ear drums! I've got quite bad tinnitus from playing acoustic drums years ago and work related noise so I have to be careful.
Any suggestions or advice is very welcome; I'm new to electronic drums so it's exciting to learn from seasoned E drummers. Thanks in advance!
