This doesn't surprise me. The SampleRack lacked on many levels and considering the new Strike is coming it just makes sense.

Maybe they will release a new version with editor, internal memory and triggers options..

I checked the Alesis site and the Sample Rack is now a "Legacy" product..so maybe another blowout sale coming like the DMDock which a lot of retailers are offering it for $99.00..free ship..

On things is strange, Sample Pad Pro it's Sample Rack at exception Sample Rack have 2 velocity layers per zone (4sample each pad) and hihat much higher.
