just wait for td-250

If you meant 250.. I don't think any of us will be alive for that.

If you meant 25... still going to be about $1500 probably.

I was just adding to JimmyB's comment above me .. I was just being silly lol

New info, the Nspire module at Namm did not have the latest firmware which have some "synth" feature to reduce machine gunning etc. The current module existing arch supports up to 4GB RAM, now it is fixed to 512mb, not populated for the release, they will be larger module later which support much more layers and up to 4gig.

This doesn't make any sense. I mean, the 2box has a SD for memory. There is a mod that allows to place a 32GB SD on the brain. You can literally place there the whole BFD3 library, and a product that is meant to use BFD has so low specs? Meh... They are looking like Alesis. Awesome concepts. Lacking final products.

I don't think that has anything to do with positional sensing. It's my understanding that the spiderweb trigger plate is to minimize hot spotting.

Side note: For some strange reason my comment was seen as  a modification of your message. I'm pretty sure I click "quote". Sorry about that.

The tester, Alan Leibowitz itself, write that there's no positional sensing in the triggers, but you can simulate an acoustic drum behaviour by playing harder at the rim and softer at the centre of the drum. And yes, he also states that even the 16" trigger has absolutely no hot spot.

That makes a lot of sense.. I rushed through the article at work.. so I stand corrected (or edited, HF, lol!) in any case, no hotspotting is excellent, and it's natural to hit hard in the center and go softer on the outer periphery so I'd imagine it would make playing feel pretty natural.. cool either way
