Crimson 2 - Any way to record custom tracks
« on: September 09, 2018, 06:39:27 AM »
So I have just bought the crimson 2. Im trying to record to play along with some songs and record the results. The manual explains how to do this but it seems to only work with the IN BUILT songs that come with the module.

Is there any way to to it with songs loaded onto an inserted usb stick? I can load drumless tracks and play along to them, but any way to record them?

Cheers

UKD.

Good question, I’m curious also. Just got my first e kit.

I just posted another thread about this. Did anyone ever get an answer in this post?

I record myself playing along with drumless tracks on my laptop. I run my modules into a mixer, and the USB output from that into my laptop.

I use cheap software to record it. (Audacity.) It's not much for tweaking the drums/sound after recording, but for what I want, it works great.

Saves them as .mp3's, and then you can do whatever you want with them.

I've never done it without my laptop, though.
