Can you use the Alesis Strike Pro module
« on: February 02, 2021, 06:09:11 PM »
In place of the Crimson II module?

I have the crimson kit/module and was curious if I decide down the road to upgrade it and use the toms and snare, cymbals, etc and they work onthe strike module

That was a weird sentence lol
Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the Forum ..
You'll need a set of cables as the Crimson II  module uses a DB25 harness
You mentioned you already have the STRIKE Hi Hat cymbal so you will already have a dual zone Hi Hat...the STRIKE module supports a 2 cable Ride.

see this topic for more info..The Crimson II and the DM10 MKII Studio modules (Medeli DD650) are essentially the same..

You can also check and see if the Crimson II does in fact support a Dual Zone Hi Hat as does the Crimson.
it should...the difference will be in the MIDI notes sent if you are using software/Vst.
