Alesis DB25 Pinouts on Cable Snakes Diagram

These are the pinouts on the Alesis Surge Mesh and DM10 MKii Studio cable snakes. The diagram shows the male plug of the snake. Sleeves use a common ground and connect within the module. Pin 12 was not used in these two kits. The Surge should also work on the Nitro. The MKii Studio is also a Crimson II and should work on Forge and Command as well. The snake may have a TRS indicating dual and triple zone, but your module must support it otherwise it is ignored. I created this information since it's not available. Using this guide you could make an adapter, DB25 to Female TRS that will allow you to use simple TRS cables like other modules. If others want to share their pinouts that would be great. DM10 MKii Pro and Strike should be different. For instance the DM10 MKii pro supports a dual zone HiHat but one is not included in the kit. There's a pattern here, so most cables will share many of the same pinouts.

This is for the DM10 MKii Pro
As you can see most pin outs are the same, but with this one we have shared pins.
I'd like to clarify that Ride 1 and Ride 2 are not for two separate Rides. Alesis has two types of three Zone Rides. One uses a single TRS and the other like on the Strike uses two TRS cables. The DM14 three Zone ride that uses a single TRS will work fine on the Ride 2 cable but not Ride 1. It will only trigger the bow if you use Ride 1 cable. At least this was my observation. Of course this does not match the manual. Oh well, it does work.

Enjoy.
