Ion drum brain

I bought an Ion drum brain the one which is basically an Alesis sr16 with trigger inputs I then got an Ion drum pad and plugged it into one of the trigger inputs no triggering is there a special button I need to press or mode I need to be in. ? Would be thankful for the communities expertise.

Need a lot more information than ION Brain and ION Pad..

I presume since you mentioned the SR16 it's the IDM01...discontinued many many years ago and not even in the ION Audio Data base.

Check the manual you should find all the info you need
