[Alesis Nitro Mesh ] Purchasing a new snare
« on: August 13, 2020, 11:29:25 AM »
I have been using my Nitro kit for almost 2 years, and I think it's necessary to upgrade my snare to something larger than 8".

Apart from other Alesis kits, are there any 3rd party dual zone snares that are compatible with the Nitro module, I am looking for something affordable.

Which places/websites can I purchase from?

(I live in Dubai, if that is necessary)

Generall any E-Drum with PP (Piezo/Piezo)configuration...Head (Piezo) and Rim(Piezo)
In that part of the world the less expensive with Mesh Head would probably be the Millenium Series.
The Millenium is a Medeli rebrand... same as the earlier Alesis only white Mesh Head...no sensitivity knob.
The Millenium Series isn't available here in the US.

Millenium MPS-850 10" Mesh Head Pad

All the large retailers Thomann etc etc should carry it.
If you want larger (12") you'll have to look for used Alesis

The thing to be aware of is I believe the Nitro has a smaller diameter (1-1/8") rack so you will need to make sure you use a Nitro rack clamp
