Main Output - low volume
« on: April 05, 2020, 09:58:42 AM »
I have a DM10 which for a long time used the RCA outputs to a standard stereo receiver. Recently I purchased a PA speaker and have run one 1/4" cable from Main Output to the speaker (Peavey PV115D - active). The volume is okay but not as loud as I would expect for this speaker.
Would it help if I output from both Mains on the DM10 and use a 'Y' connector down to one cable to feed the speaker? (speaker only has one input).

There has been many a discussion on this, and confusion as the manual/web site has contradictions, and the reps also.

So you could try TS to TRS Y cable.
Majority of the users I know who have used this amp and similar with single TRS input..used the Headphone jack on the module with a TRS cable and got more volume control and were quite happy..
A number of new amps have come out in the past couple years specifically for drums with a dual input and 2,000 watt ratings and for great prices, usually around $300.00 US
