With the release of the new 2Box kit, there is a great forum created by a member of DMdrummer.com, UC. If you get a chance check it out at:

I got to play with a new 2Box kit in a drum store in Italy. In a nutshell, here's what I thought:

Good news:
very attractive, modern looking kit
I liked the sounds
simple to use module
nice feel (OK I like mesh heads)
some have griped about the high-hat...I thought it was fine

Bad news:
Shaky construction. I want my pads to stay put, not bounce around.
delicate hardware; I would worry about breakage (I play live with my Edrums)
The kick had way too much bounce (perhaps this is adjustable/fixable)

As much as I hate to bad mouth the new and different, the set was fun, but just a bit flimsy for my taste.
