Flat Toms or Angled ?

I'm noticing some drummers like all their toms flat (level), while other like them angled. Is there any technical advantage to them being flat ?

I don't think so. I all comes down to your comfort when playing. When I use to play acoustic drums I had more of an angle to them. Of course back then I sat lower behind the kit as well. I tend to sit kind of high on the kit these days and my toms are more flat. Not 100% flat, but not to much angle.
