Creating a song True or False

If I am in song creation mode and I wish to review my steps I've done the following. With the recording tally light still on and red. I press stop. This sets the Step counter back to 00. I press play. and the steps play out as I programmed them. When play gets to the end of my song's steps, is it true that the last step I entered will duplicate over and over as additional new steps until I press stop? Comments appreciated.

It is true! While in record mode, playing through the song will continue to program additional steps of the last entered step. In this way, I was able to stretch my initial 5 steps of programming to nearly 20. Then, by using step edit, I can change any particular step for musical interest. If I run over the SR 18 also permits me to erase unwanted steps one at a time. Genius!
