Hello new drummer here! I am using the alesis dm10 and wanting to upgrade the high hat. Has anyone used the Goe Drum high hat controller?

I have, but I only have the controller, not the one that comes with a cymbal, and I have not tried it with an Alesis Module, it works perfectly for the Roland TD-11, I suspect it should work fine for Alesis with minor tweaks...

Make sure you order the right one. One is for Roland and one supports other brands including g Alesis and you must read the description to find out as the item name doesn’t make it obvious! I’m waiting for the right one to arrive and I’ll update when it comes. I had the Roland one by accident and it worked pretty good but the company says the Alesis one will be better as the voltage output is different
