Roland PD-7 Rim not working with Alesis Strikepro
« on: December 14, 2020, 12:25:15 PM »
I am attempting to use a PD-7 pad with my Strikepro.  The Center works fine, but the rim just triggers the center.  When I try to use a different pad with the same cable, they both work well.  is there something unique about the PD-7 Rim or Trigger type?  (I switched between Piezo and Switch, and that didn't seem to matter.  Nor did threshold and sensitivity settings)

The PD-7 uses a switch type trigger for the rim.
These pads also have a Polarity switch by the jack..Try changing  that...one position is for Roland (I think for Roland use is Neg -)
