My DM10X with extras
« on: February 11, 2015, 06:21:48 PM »
This is my first edrum kit. I've added a trigger I/O, three extra cymbals, Drum-tec mesh heads and and a perc pad.

Dang those are clean. I love Sabian cymbals as well. You playing open handed?

No I don't. I'm a left handed person playing right handed. I don't cross my arms. A couple of my cymbals are Soultone and Mienl. I really like the sound of the Soultones so far. Both are Custom Brilliant RA's. 11" and 12". When playing covers, with my set up in this room and with the acoustics, they blend very well.

I think we're describing the same thing. So you look like Carter Beauford from DMB when you play? A right-handed set, but you're a lefty. Hats and Ride are both on the left. You play the snare with your right hand.

...and using the hihatstand as a support for the stock hihat just for the looks? Seeing the realhat pedal underneath.
Understandable since the Pro-x hat was a major disappointment.

the hi hat has sabian 13" cymbals. though I'm moving towards Soultone cymbals now. I'm selling the whole XS20 7 cymbal set.

Thanks! Sry for the late reply. I haven't been on in months. I'll post another more recent photo of my kit tonight after I get home from work.
