Strata Prime MIDI Program Change Messages

This is a long shot, but has anyone worked out if the Prime module can receive MIDI program change messages? I want to have kits changed remotely on stage by my keys player. We've worked out how to do it with my Strike Multipad (bank = 0 / then the kit number), but can't find out how to do it with the Prime.

There isn't a MIDI Implementation Chart... However I have been using the BFD software for over 20 years and the module programming may be similar to interface the Strata Modules at a point and time.
The latest BFDv3.5 has added .json files and sets for the trigger system for the Strata Modules.
These are quite different than the MIDI maps typically supplied for Drum Modules.
I don't see this being discussed anywhere as I don't believe anyone is aware of it.
There is also No mention of it in the BFDv3.5  Manual..






Originally the Strata Modules were capable of importing BFD3..Kits..Presets etc , however I seen confusion early on as many assumed it meant they could load Kits/Presets from the BFD3 software..which you couldn't if you didn't posses that specific expansion/library and could only use the available expansions on the Modules and so Kit pieces etc would be empty on the Module..because of this confusion..support was dropped in Firmware v1.02..which is too bad as it also caused me to lose interest in the Modules as I have had a Full touch screen setup mounted to a Kit for over a decade....maybe it will be added in the next version of BFD...BFD4.
I posted in numerous Topics including this reply what I would need to examine/edit the BFD Kits/Presets,however received No response as I believe the Module does not seem to be capable of exporting them.



If I were to guess (I don't have any of the Strata Modules).
The Automation setup may be similar for Playlist....sending PC then Kit number assignment in the Strata Module Playlist..in BROWSE MODE
The developers for the Module Firmware are the same for the BFD Software
Few Alesis Modules sent PC or recognized..the TriggerI/O was one of them and I have used it to send to other Alesis Modules (Medeli Re-Brands) and it works for changing the GM Kits but ran into issue with it also changing the Digital Kit...No control.
The STRIKE Modules recognized CC..for changing Kits

Speculation..but may be worth a shot..

Hopefully it works and you can figure something out..as I mentioned I don't have one of the Modules to experiment with.
I know there are those that use an iPad/Band Helper and sync their iPhones/iPads  to send Control Changes,Program Changes, along with Lyrics, Setlist's,send MIDI automatically when you select songs.etc etc to their gear during their sets.
You can use a CME Widi master for 5 PIN..The Strata Modules have Bluetooth MIDI.

The Instructions above are from the BFD Operation manual that was in use from 2013 till the latest.
Here is the latest version of Program List Instructions from the recently released BFD3.5 update..which for the first time in years..included a New Operation manual.
For the most part the same...maybe a little less confusing..
In the software you could just use a standard MIDI Controller etc for sending Program...as mentioned before The Strata Modules have Bluetooth MIDI so that's an option.
The difference between the BFD Software and the Module may only  be the Program changes cannot be a part of the Preset in the software and  is loaded/saved separately as a Program Change List...perhaps the Module is different.
