Dual zone cymbal for use as hi-hat:verified

While deciphering the voice list of my DM10 MKII Pro module I noticed that it contained a number of hi-hat edge voices. Seemed useless since the kit comes with a single-zone hi-hat. I took one of my dual-zone 14" crash cymbals and tried it and found that the hi-hat input does indeed support a dual-zone cymbal. So, I found a used 12" dual-zone cymbal on eBay for a reasonable price and ordered it. Arrived today and was able to program edge and bow separate voices. Why, you might ask? because when I am using my double bass pedal I don't want the hi-hat sounding open, so by having an edge voice I can do this without that issue. It's tricky to hit the edge just right every time, but with practice... ;D

I'm also looking for dual zone hihat but not piezo/switch ...
The velocity is not an issue since I can either mod it aka

or do it in software easier.
But the problem is hitting and triggering the switch ,which needs more force and be precise on the edge

Are there any dual zones piezo/piezo in the market ? Preferably 10"

I have since swapped the edge and bow voices using the edge for my normal hi-hat operation and the bow for my closed hi-hat chick. Works much better that way.
