Roland snare PDX-12, compatible w/ DM-10 or Crimson 2?

Purchased a pdx-12 snare, right before I sold my DM-10 kit, but noticed it triggered poorly with that module as well as with my Crimson 2 module.  OK, update to this problem.  I simply loosened the mesh pad by one full turn with the drum key, 95% better.

I too have a PDX -12 as my snare with a Crimson Module,  and had to dial it in a little, it does not have all the settings the DM-10 has so I tried this.

I lowered the retrig to 1 and the sensitivity to 7, the threshold is at 5  and  crosstalk to 5.
It seems to trigger well for me now with those settings, however I keep the head pretty tight.
