Alesis Surge only Sends Timing Clock

I tried both USB and Midi to USB cables and Midi Ox input continues to only read "Timing Clock". It doesn't acknowledge any trigger specific data. I have reset the module numerous times. Set LOC OFF. The midi trigger data worked only once when I first connected a few days ago to Reaper > MT Drums ST > then it stopped and has never been recognized since with input data, only the Timing Clock.

I also have a Keystation midi controller and that works fine (image attached).

I have no idea what to do to reset or adjust to get the triggered midi data.
