I've been using my Alesis SR18 for over ten years as a solo guitar/vocalist guy at local wineries and pubs, I count on it so much I bought a second one just in case the first one ever goes on the fritz. But in all these years I don't recall ever seeing any offers of new drum or percussion sounds to down load, or presets (which perhaps could be loaded in place of the original 99, or in the USER bank). I was looking through the percussion list for a "finger snap" sound (for Trampoline/SHAED) and no luck. That seems like it would be a pretty obvious sound to include. In any case, has Alesis--or any computer-savvy user--ever offered a package of additional sounds, esp. percussion sounds? Hard to believe that there is no way to get an electronic rendering of a particular sound into that device, as a computing device.
