Thanks for accepting me into the new fangled world of electronic drums.
Played a Premier Crown acoustic kit in the eighties in several bands; thoroughly enjoyed it! Then as is usual, house, family and work trumps cool, noisy drum kit and it was sold in the early nineties; went over to guitar. Haven't played drums at all since then.
Enter a Alesis Crimson 2 kit bought for me in 2018 by a whip round from the family as I was building a sound proof decoupled room in the garage. Unboxed and assembled it for the first time last month........ Takes some getting used to especially the hi hat which is nothing like the feel and feedback you get from real metal cymbals - but hey; I'll get used to it.....hopefully.
