Hi - just been approved.
I'm 71 in a couple of months and just been diagnosed with a neurological issue that affects my balance and coordination. I had no plans to ever play the drums, but it seems a good idea to help.
I've just purchased an Alesis Nitro Max kit and quite happy with it. I have toyed with learning the guitar but admittedly haven't got far with it, and One thing I'm finding useful is I have Guitar Pro software - and when I load up a track in GP, those tracks that include a drum track will play through the Bluetooth on the Alesis, and I can mute or lower other tracks so the drum track plays nice and clear. I can then loop parts to practice.
One thing I'd like to know is whether the Alesis can do a hi-hat (half). Been a fan of Led Zep, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath forever.
