Alesis Amp 12

Hi,

Alesis Amp 12: I have a single line from my mixer going into VOLUME 1 on the back. I have it turned up 1/3, and the other volume control is at 0.

What are the 2 buttons for ?....do I need either of them turned on ?...will they mess up the sound if on ?

If you are referring to the 2 Buttons upper Right on the back panel..they are Contour and Ground..

9. Contour: Engage (depress) this button to emphasize low and high frequencies by +3 dB.
Disengage (raise) the switch for a flatter response for live performance or for maximum output.

10. Ground Switch: Engage (depress) this switch to reduce hum or noise.
