DM6 hi-hat pedal sensitivity
« on: September 18, 2010, 10:46:38 AM »
still learning about my new DM6 and all the  idiosyncracies

my hi-hat pedal is sensitive for the low-volume response (which is way too low), but I have to STOMP on it to get the normal-volume response.

I know how to work with the difference voice volumes, and I already have the hi-hat up to 16, with everything else around 10. It really seems like a sensitivity issue with the pedal itself.

Anyone experience this, or have a fix?

Thanks!

Sorry, I'm no help.  I had the Ion version of the DM6 a year or so ago, but it broke in the first week, so I never had a chance to dive in.

Hopefully someone here can help.   If not, I'd suggest calling Alesis.  I've found their tech support to be solid.
