Multimix 8 1.1
« on: August 06, 2009, 07:46:53 AM »
I use the Alesis multimix 8 usb 1.1 as a small mixer to mix my 2 Yamaha modules together. I find this mixer to be a great tool for me, ultimately I would like the usb 2.0 Multimix 16 but I dont have the cash for it but thats the goal. I really cant say enough good things about most of alesis's products, dollar for dollar they pack a great value into everything they make.

I have the USB 2.0 version and love it also.  With Cubase 4le its really simply to record my band.   I've also used it as my bands mixer live and it works fine.  We've added another player so I need more inputs now.

Hi Marc, thats why I am questioning whether I should purchase the 16 model, I want to uilize my outputs on my Yamaha dtxtreme 3 and 2s which will need 12 outputs total. I use my mixer with Cakewalk Sonar 6 and I am very happy the way it has performed. Tom  ;D
