Going Freeware
« on: March 03, 2017, 06:53:53 AM »
Hi,
This thread is about freeware Drum Kits. The format can be anything (soundfont, vst etc).
Freeware usually means cheap and poor quality. If anyone has actually used any freeware program that feels professional post here.
So let's start.

SM Drums
https://smmdrums.wordpress.com/

I have tried it in the past (the soundfont version ,via sforzando) and sounds great!

DrumMic’a by Sennheiser

It requires the free Kontakt Player and is also very deep. The problem is it takes a while to follow the non-English instructions to download ( I use google translate).
Also check the post from @RoboPlankton for translation.

Post your findings here and will update the links.  :)
