Voltage drop
« on: October 23, 2017, 05:44:34 AM »
Hi Guys,

I new here and about to buy a strike pro.
I want to use Superior Drummer with the Strike Pro, but the guys from Drum-Tec told me the strike pro module (like the dm10) suffers from Voltage drops creating unwanted triggering. So they advised against this combination. Now I am in doubts...

Anyone here has any experience with this issue?

Cheers,
Igor

Sorry, a forum isn't always like Facebook when it comes to people answering.

The best I can do is point you to this topic:

Drum VST Database 1.0

Under Superior Drummer it says that the DM10 does work.

To be honest, this is the first time I've ever heard of a voltage drop being a reason an Alesis product doesn't work with a VST. I've never had issues using my DM10 or my Strike with GarageBand or BFDeco both VSTs. Why in the world would Superior Drummer be any different?

That's my two cents.
