Thanks for that one man. I knew those heads were available for a while but there was never a review on the forums from what I can tell. There are Remo Silent Strokes mesh heads also.http://www.guitarcenter.com/Remo-Silentstroke-Drumhead-J00518-i3307305.gc

Those are the one I bought and I have some fraying around the outside of Tom 4. Maybe just a bad one in the bunch. I will be buying Billy Blast ones next as I hear they are the better of the bunch for the price.

Yeah I have Billy Blast for mine and they are 3 ply so much more durable.

Thanks for the post. I bought the 682 heads and have been fairly happy overall, but I have been looking for a cheaper alternative if for no other reason than to have spares.
