Maybe it's just me, maybe it was that the audio wasn't lined up to the video properly, maybe it's that he should stick to System of a Down and heavier stuff..

I don't think he's familiar with funk style.. way too busy and showy as far as I'm concerned.. not that I could do much better, he's got some great moves and I see he's capable of a lot of awesome licks in his other vids... but I don't think he should be playing funk or anything that requires some soul and finess

Interestingly I always thought the drumming on Uptown Funk was bound to be Tony Royster Jr or some such monster good drummer..

According to the Wiki page Bruno Mars himself  played drums on it. Nice groove.
