Proper way to reassemble a pad
« on: June 08, 2018, 06:26:55 PM »
I bought a used kit on eBay and it has been messed with a lot. Not in a good way either!  :-[
It appears that in a effort to make the Remo Silent Stroke skins work with this kit, the original owner 'modified' the pad assembly. I am trying to swap the Remo's for Prism's, but I don't know what the original assembly order is!

The thick foam pad with the hole in the center is above the trigger on some and below it on others. I think it belongs above the trigger assembly, but I can't find any blowup drawings of the stock pad assembly.

Can someone that has opened a stock pad please give me a clue?

@Doc, It sounds like it was one of the Realskin pads.

@Dragonfire, if it's still using the reflection plate, I have a full set of those that are modded for meshheads. I'll take a look later today and let you know what order I have everything in. Alternatively, you could search for Hellfire's mesh head mod, it's what I used, and you need to do the same if you want the mesh head to trigger properly.
