DM6 Headphone jack issues

Hey,
Apologies if this has been queried and answered elsewhere, I've just bought a 2nd hand Alesis DM6 drumkit, and the headphone output has issues. It only really works when the headphone chord is pressed down, which indicates there's a wiring issue inside the drum brain. Does anyone know if the headphone jack within the DM6 can be replaced, or if I was to unscrew the back off the DM6, would the wires to the headphone jack be repairable? I believe this is a wiring issue

Otherwise, I'm wondering if the DM6 pads can be connected to another drum brain (Alesis or prehaps a Roland TD series brain or Yamaha)? I'm assuming I'll need new chords for this, as the alesis chords are connected to the cartridge that connects to the drum brain

If I can't repair the headphone jack, in the meantime, I believe I can use the kit but connecting via USB to PC and controlling drum sounds such as NI Battery, using the headphone out on my Laptop. Not ideal, but at least I can practise drums somehow

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
