I'm not much of a drummer, just prefer to play beats in with sticks when I'm making tunes.
I have an Alesis Trigger I/O and some DDrum triggers. At the moment I just have Pearl snare I picked up somewhere with the snare trigger on it which feels good but the MIDI it generates is not that great. It misses a lot of hits and rolls don't come through that great and the velocities seem quite random sometimes when I'm hitting consistently.
I've tweaked the I/O for gain and threshold and all that. As it's just one drum I don't need to worry about Xtalk or retriggers.
I think I just need a more accurate pad.
I don much like the rolands, the feel is weird.
The pintechs look good.
Whats the best for feel and sensitivity?
