Tom pad misses hits
« on: February 20, 2016, 10:14:18 AM »
Hi, I'm having a problem with one of the 10 pad of my dm10 x kit mesh.
Suddenly a lot of spots don't trigger the sound.
I tried to switch cables and nothing changed so I'm pretty sure it's a pad issue. Nothing violent happened to this pad, do you have any ideas of what it could be?

Edit: I did a couple of tests and I found out that it triggers if I hit the pad lightly. When I hit the pad with more force sometimes triggers the "loud" sound and sometimes it doesn't trigger at all.

have you tried spinning the jacks in the sockets, could just be a bad connection

GiulioG10: Were you able to find out what the problem was with your tom pads?

You might have to tweak your trigger settings.
What happens in the display when this occurs? The rim lights up? If so, it might be too high sensitivity.

I had a similar problem and I understood from what has caused - if I had received a cold solder one wire trigger zapoih it again and everything was fine
