Millenium Hi-Hat Controller MINE V2.0 + DM10
« on: October 30, 2016, 02:21:34 PM »
Hi guys, I was browsing Thomann.de and came across a hi-hat controller, but with some inconclusive reviews.
Is by any chance someone out there that has any experience with it under DM10?
One of the review mentioned that this controller has only open/close and no half-open function but I doubted that because the guy didn't mention what module he was using...

That's the controller - https://www.thomann.de/intl/millenium_hihat_controller_mine.htm
I'm interested in buying the whole package - https://www.thomann.de/intl/millenium_hi_hat_controller_mine_set.htm (very cheep for what you get if it works properly)

Just curious why you would want to buy the MINE HH controller that costs €95 when you can purchase the Alesis Pro X HH for €99, which already includes the hats?

BTW: I looked at both recently also when I was thinking of buying the DM10X and went for the Pro X HH. It took some time to calibrate (or should I rather say manually setup by changing the calibration settings by hand), but it works pretty good for me. And it does have full and half open as well as closed.

Hi, mainly because most people say Pro X is shit. You are one of the very least happy with the Alesis HH.
Anyways, now you made me reconsider that option again... :)
