Replacement Power Supply For DM-10
« on: February 18, 2017, 07:57:24 PM »
I recently acquired a used DM 10 module but it came with a power supply that doesn't work properly with it. Module works fine with my old power supply for my other one. There's a lot of them out there and kind of scared to use the wrong one which I just did. Scary things were going on with it. So if anybody has any knowledge on this I would be grateful.

If you can't find an official Alesis model, just make sure that you get a 9V AC/AC, 1.5A, 5.5mm outer 2.5 inner. If you get an AC/DC unit, the DM10 will power up but will not function correctly, i.e no audio output.

I purchased one of these for my DM10 module...

However, I am in the UK and not sure of you location, but I would recommend contacting your local Alesis spares dealer (typically inMusic) to get an official one, just to be sure. Contact details can be found here... http://www.alesis.com/support

Hope that helps?
