Repairing /Modding a Surge Cymbal

I have had some issues with one of my Surge Crashes dying on me, so I grew a set and took it apart.. come to find out, it was a broken lead on the piezo..
Here's some pics of the internals. Not a lot in there (thankfully).

Looks like an easy fix. Cool! that's better than having to purchase a new one.

I also had some issues with small cracks developing in the centers of the surge cymbals. I took a few washers and hot glued them on either side of the cymbal. Hopefully, these will take the brunt of any punishment that I give em now..

you have cut the rivet and replace it by screw or rivets ?
