Alesis DM10 - Improving the Hi Hat
« on: May 07, 2017, 03:27:54 PM »
I'm looking to upgrade the hi hat the x hat is supposedly not great. With the Roland 11 coming in at a 350 price I was going to engineer my own own hat using the 45 goedrum controller. Has anyone had any experience with it and are therefore any alternative methods? Also has anyone tried the full 150 goedrum set? I don't mind using metal cymbals and modding ;)

Hi, I have the goedrum jumper kit and I switched the module with an alesis dm10. For me it works perfectly: nice chicks, barks and splashes with very minor tweaking. I like it a lot with the dm10 and I will recommend you go for it.
