Strike Pro Updated Trigger Settings File

Congrats on your new Strike module!
Many new users to the Strike have issues with "ghost triggering" (drums/cymbals being triggered when just sitting and nothing is being played on the kit) and/or the hi-hat being totally un-playable out of the box and not to mention cross talk. The good news is trigger settings are global. Meaning they are set for the whole module and not just one kit.
Attached to this post is a
StrikeTriggerSettings.syx
file. This file "should" correct many issues that you have with "ghost triggering", "un-playable Hi-Hats" and cross Talk (or Xtalk). At the very least this file will diminish these issues and help you to find better settings.
Before you begin:
If you have made any changes to your own trigger setting and do not want to lose them, please first backup your trigger settings to your computer before proceeding.
You must be a member (membership is free) and logged in to see the file.
To load StrikeTriggerSettings.syx SysEx file to the Strike module from your computer, follow these steps:
1. With the module off, connect the module's USB port to your computer with a standard USB printer cable.
2. Power on your Strike module.
3. Press the "TRIGGERS" button.
4. Use a MIDI utility to send the appropriate sysex file (.syx) to the module (which will need to be selected as the receiving MIDI device). Examples of MIDI utilities that can be used:
- MIDI-OX (for PC)
- SysEx Librarian (For Mac)
5. Once you Play/send your sysex file (.syx) be sure to press the "SAVE" button. Then press "F1" for "Yes" and then press "F1" for "OK".
6. Your new trigger setting should now be saved in your Strike module.
This was used as a stop gap until new firmware was available. Please see this topic for new firmware:
