Kick Pad Drop Outs when hitting Snare PAD DM10
« on: April 06, 2018, 06:14:51 PM »
I have a DM10 (DM10 Studio Pro), with a Roland 12" PAD for the Snare.  I don't remember the model, but it is one that is compatible with the DM10.  I have drum-tec mesh conversion kit installed on all of the PADs including the Kick PAD.  The XTalk setting is a 4 for send and receive.  But for some reason when the Snare PAD is hit, it will cause the Kick PAD to cut out.  The solders still look good on the Kick PAD.  I am thinking that the DM10 just cannot handle the when multiple PADs are hit at the same time.  Another person that I know that has the DM10 Studio Pro, and has the same problem.  Is there any way of correcting this problem or it is characteristic behavior of the DM10 and I need to look for another module to replace?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Try lowering the XTalk send on the snare and the XTalk receive on the bass ;)

You should need any cross talk send or receive dialed in on the kick unless it touches the rack
