Holy crap!... glad I read that.  Mine are in firm, but not tight.  I have to imagine they are touching the PCB.  I've got a piece of foam I could put in there.

It seems to work if you pinch, not harder, but firmly... and for a length of time, not just a quick squeeze.   I'm under the impression that this is the same sensor (I may be wrong) that senses crashing the bow of the cymbal... and if that's the case, then a long squeeze tells the DM10 that this is a choke move and not a bow hit.

Yes.. and the poor printing doesn't help.  The images were hard to make out.

Does anyone know what kind of usb cable you use on the dm10x...is it the same as a printer usb??? Also does anyone have the finished dimensions (foot print) of the dm10x????

Mine is about 6x6.
