I decided to have a go at converting an acoustic snare to use with my DM10. I have purchased a Mapex snare (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/drums-percussion/mapex-steel-piccolo-snare-drum?rNtt=mapex%20snare&index=1), a REMO SilentStroke mesh head and I'm about to order the conversion kit (http://pintechworld.com/shop/acoustic-to-electronic-drum-kit-conversion/). I wanted to check around to see if there was anything I might need to know when getting it to work with my DM10? Any shared similar experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!
