So I have piezo pickups from making Cigar Box Guitars and I was wondering if you can use those for an acoustic drum conversion? I appears as though the pickups you buy to do the job are fairly simple, but I don't want to waste time either. The Pintech conversion is not very expensive. Just wondering if it would work. It opens up some cool possibilities for various shaped percussion pickups too.
