I want to get a clean finish on the rubber section on my dm cymbals. Any tips to getting a shine back to the rubber surface?

I've seen 303 protectant  recommended elsewhere, but I haven't tried it myself..... yet.

try using tire cleaner [the spray foam that you spray on the sidewall of the tires] it gives black plastic a wicked shine! might do the same for rubber...

One general gear cleaning tip is to always put whatever you're using onto the rag/towel instead of the piece of gear.  That way it's less likely to get into places where it shouldn't be than if you just spray it all over the piece.

Just use an ordinary rag and make it slightly wet. Rub all over rubber and clean!
Well, until you start playing again...
