DMPad CYmbal - How to choke?
« on: July 12, 2011, 02:34:31 PM »
Hi Everyone. I just purchased a new DM8 Pro Kit, and cannot seem to findout how to enable the choke of the cymbals. Can anyone assist?

Thanks!

I looked through the DM8 manual only to find it the same (regarding cymbals) as the DM10.  There is no specific choke setting beyond sending or not sending the MIDI information.  Check to make sure you have the correct cymbal as your choke enabled crash and also check to make sure you have the correct cable (I think this is TRS/Stereo).

There have been a few folks on here that had the hihat and crash mixed up.
Strike Pro, Dm10, Zildjian Gen 16 hats, xhats and garbage cymbals, Kit Toys chinas, crash and splashes, jam dock, mixer, custom 13" tom, alesis, drum workshop and various hardware.
