If you're asking about whats in the attached photo, that's a standard Alesis 14" cymbal (I have two, exactly the same, came with my DM10X Mesh).

Looks like that is a 3 zone (bell, bow & edge) cymbal. I think the connector is either to make sure the bow circuit is disabled or to close it so it works properly as a 2 zone (bow & edge).
