I got a Dm10 pro kit with surge cymbals.
But, it seems that the choke strip on the
three-zone ride cymbal has stopped working - I can no longer get the ride cymbal to choke.
I tried connecting my crash cymbal with choke in the jack for the ride cymbal, and I got the choke effect working on the crash cymbal in the ride jack. I tried to jack the ride cymbal into the crash jack, but I could not get it to choke in any way.
So - I guess that the choke strip on the ride cymbal is broken.
Time for an RMA, I guess...
Or is there something (obvious) I have missed?
