"Cone" Mod
«

Hey guys,
Been searching for a mod that'll make my DM10 pads the most silent, and I keep hearing of a Cone mod, similar to the Roland pads. Does anyone have any links to more information regarding it and/or how to do it? Also, is this actually the quietest conversion?
Thanks

Checkout the the DIY section, lots of pad mod's there. And some friendly discussion on which is "better" / "Quieter" ..etc Hellfire's plate method is stickied on top of the section...
evilcartman did a nice cone type to an alesis pad here:

...Hope it helps, Yankee

Haha, thanks very much for that! Feel like a bit of an idiot seeing as a DIY section was staring me right in the face
In the proccess of trying out Hellfires method, and tomorrow will try a cone one, see which on I prefer. Thanks again
