Dm10x not registering hits NOT A MODULE ISSUE
« on: June 10, 2017, 07:06:19 PM »
I have the dm10x.  I am experiencing issues with one of the pads, it doe's not registar some of my hits, soft hits, rolls things like that.  I've switched pads on the same channel and they work just fine.  Tips?

Probably a wire coming loose on the piezo or maybe a piezo going bad.

I'd tend to agree with JimmyB. One question, when you tried another channel did you use the same TRS or the one for the pad you substitute? Have you put that pad on a different channel?  If the problem follows you I'd say it is the pad. If a different pad fails using the failing pads TRS then may be a faulty cable...

I'm a newbie too but this is what I'd do for most audio / electronic diags  I trust the experts will keep me honest here  8)

I didn't have a spare piezo.  I ended up splicing the wire.  It worked!  I will have to replace it.
